Summary: Drag Gambit does not ask for data such as your name, email address, or postal address. It uses technical identifiers and usage data to produce aggregate statistics that help improve the game and to provide the features described in this policy. It can send you notifications about what's new, but only if you opt in, and you can turn them off at any time. There are no ads, no accounts, and we never sell data or share it for commercial purposes.
The data controller is JotApps (developer of Drag
Gambit).

The game uses GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics ApS, Denmark), a standard analytics tool for video games, which collects usage data and technical data for statistical purposes:
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, or any advertising identifier. There are no accounts and no sign-up. If new events are ever logged, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Only to improve the game: knowing how many people play, whether matches are finished or abandoned, whether the difficulty and the in-game economy are well tuned, and whether new features are used. There are no ads and no user profiles.
The processing of technical and analytics data is based on the developer's legitimate interest in improving the application. Push notifications are only used when the user authorises them.
You can read GameAnalytics' privacy policy at https://gameanalytics.com/privacy/.
The game can notify you about what's new (new queens, challenges, or game modes) through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a service provided by Google LLC whose use may involve data processing under Google's privacy policy. It is entirely optional: it only activates if you accept it inside the game and then grant Android's notification permission, and you can turn it off at any time from your device's notification settings.
To deliver notifications, Firebase generates a device registration token: a random identifier that is not linked to your identity and is only used to route the notification. Notifications are sent to broad topics (for example, the game's language), never targeted at individuals, and declining them changes nothing in the game.
You can read how Google handles this data at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Your game progress (card collection, team, and settings) is saved only in the app's private storage on your device. It never leaves it, and it is fully removed when you uninstall the app.
Data sent to GameAnalytics is retained for as long as necessary to produce statistics and improve the game, in accordance with the provider's retention policies.
Some providers (Google, GameAnalytics) may process data outside the European Economic Area, applying the safeguards required by the applicable regulations.
The app uses the internet permission (to send the analytics and receive the notifications described above), the vibration permission, for haptic feedback when capturing cards, and the notifications permission, which is optional: it is only requested if you opt in to updates, and you can decline or revoke it later without changing anything in the game. It requests no other permission.
The processing is the same for everyone: no data is collected that could identify the person playing, whether a child or an adult.
You can request information about the processing of your data or exercise the rights granted to you by the applicable legislation by writing to contact@jotapps.app. Please note that, since the developer holds no data that could identify you, it may not be possible to fulfil certain requests.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if an online mode is added), this page will be updated before that version is released.
